Little Owls Nursery Ltd

We always have lots of fun and exciting events happening at Little Owls Nursery. We like the children to have a sense of community and feel like they belong. We will litter collect on the field, join in with Remembrance services and recently helped with the Mackworth community garden.

We have trips to the farm where we love our families to come and join in the fun with us! This is alongside with local trips to the Library, the park and community walks.

We have family story and singing session , Summer fairs, craft mornings, and bouncy castle fun days,. We take part in Harvest festivals collecting for the community food bank, Christmas experiences where Little Owls is an active part in Derby secret Santa,  and Easter bonnet parades, and when our spring caterpillars have transformed, we invite all of our families to come along and wave the butterflies goodbye.

We love hands on experiences- whether it be having chicks at nursery , or inviting Daisy the therapy dog into the nursery- every day is different 

We enjoy having cake sales and events where our families join in and donate, along with coffee mornings and check in chats 

You can speak formally to your child's key worker if you wish, however with our online learning journals, your child's learning is literally at the touch of a button on Blossom!!!
